Jagiroad Assembly Election Results 2026 Live Updates: BJP's Pijush Hazarika holds seat with commanding margin
Pijush Hazarika (Bharatiya Janata Party) and Sri Bubul Das (Congress) — 2 candidates contesting from Jagiroad in Assam's 2026 Assembly Election. Votes cast across this constituency are now being counted, and early trends from each round will be closely watched as the day unfolds. Jagiroad is a Scheduled Caste (SC) reserved constituency under the Nowgong Lok Sabha segment, with 238,898 voters on its electoral rolls. In 2021, Pijush Hazarika of the Bharatiya Janata Party won by a margin of 29,404 votes. Pijush Hazarika had also won in 2016. The 2021 turnout was 83.38%. the final result will show which candidate has secured the most votes in Jagiroad in 2026.
