Adv.V Joy (Communist Party of India (Marxist)), Raju S Kottarakonam (Bahujan Samaj Party), Varkala Kahar (Congress), Adv.Smitha Sundaresan (Bharatiya Janata Party), Vinod Elakamon (Democratic Human Rights Movement Party), Kannan M K (Independent), Vivekanandan K (Independent), Saju (Independent), and Harikrishnan S G (Independent) — 9 candidates contesting from Varkala in Kerala's 2026 Assembly Election. Votes cast across this constituency are now being counted, and early trends from each round will be closely watched as the day unfolds. Varkala is a General constituency. In 2021, Adv.
