Congress on Tuesday released its manifesto for the Rajasthan assembly polls. The manifesto was released by Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge, chief minister Ashok Gehlot, PCC chief Govind Singh Dotasra, chairman of the manifesto committee CP Joshi, former deputy CM Sachin Pilot and other leaders at the PCC office. ​Grand old party promises caste survey​

In its impactful manifesto, the grand old party has promised a much-discussed caste survey, interest-free loans up to Rs 2 lakh to farmers and 10 lakh job opportunities. "Conduct a census based on caste to accurately determine population and allocate benefits for informed decisions on affirmative action," the party said in its manifesto. (X)

​Congress includes special law to implement MSP in its manifesto​

To lure the rural voters including farmers, the party has promised recruitment at the panchayat level. It also guaranteed a special law to implement MSP as per recommendations of the Swaminathan Commission. (PTI)

Party focuses on small traders, shopkeepers and young entrepreneurs​

Highlighting the salient points of its manifesto, Congress also promised interest-free loans of up to Rs 5 lakh to small traders, shopkeepers and young entrepreneurs. Congress assured to double the amount to beneficiaries under the Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme from Rs 25 lakh to Rs 50 lakh annually. (PTI)

​Congress pledges to introduce 'IVF package' under Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme​

"We will increase the facilities under free OPD/IPD in government medical institutions at the district and block level. Inclusion of IVF in Mukhyamantri Nishulk Chiranjeevi Swasthya Bima Yojana: Recognizing the profound emotional and social challenges faced by couples deprived of the joy of parenthood, we pledge to introduce a comprehensive 'In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) package' under this scheme," Congress' manifesto added. ​If returned to power Congress to create 10 lakh employment opportunities​

While releasing its manifesto, Congress asserted that it would create 10 lakh employment opportunities in five years if returned to power. Out of which 4 lakh employment opportunities will be in the government sector, the party added. (PTI)

​Security guards in every village to ensure safety of women​

Congress on Tuesday also announced several measures to ensure the safety of women in the state. The party promised CCTV cameras in public places. To provide a safe environment for women, Congress promised to appoint security guards in every village and urban ward. The party also assured the public of taking necessary steps to reduce the average investigation time in sexual harassment cases for speedy justice. (PTI)
