In Alangudi, Siva V Meyyanathan of DMK secured a clear victory, polling 64,929 votes and defeating TVK’s Kandasamy by a margin of 12,977 votes. AIADMK’s Dhana Vimal finished third with 50,063 votes, as the constituency delivered a decisive mandate in favour of DMK.
