Bhavanisagar Assembly Election Results 2026 Live Updates: TVK’s VP Tamilselvi wins by 4,569 vote margin

In Bhavanisagar, VP Tamilselvi of TVK secured a narrow victory, polling 72,391 votes and defeating AIADMK’s A Bannari by a margin of 4,569 votes. CPI’s PL Sundaram finished third with 63,107 votes, as the constituency delivered a closely contested result in favour of TVK.

In the Bhavanisagar constituency of Tamil Nadu, counting is still under way with TVK's V.P.Tamilselvi currently leading the race on 64,047 votes. The sitting AIADMK legislator A.Bannari is trailing at 61,327 votes, leaving a margin of 2,720 votes between the two as tallying progresses.

As counting progresses across Tamil Nadu's 234 Assembly constituencies, Bhavanisagar's result will add to the state-wide picture. Trends from this seat will contribute to the overall tally as it builds through the day.
