Ulundurpettai Assembly Election Results 2026 Live Updates: DMK’s G R Vasanthavel wins by 2,277 vote margin

In Ulundurpettai, G R Vasanthavel of DMK edged past AIADMK’s R Kumaraguru in a close contest, securing 98,471 votes and winning by a margin of 2,277 votes. TVK’s M Sudhakar finished third with 66,208 votes, as the constituency witnessed a competitive race.

TVK is currently leading in 122 of Tamil Nadu's 234 assembly seats, putting the party four seats beyond the majority mark of 118 if those leads hold. AIADMK is trailing at 51 seats, while DMK is leading in 42 constituencies. No seats have been declared yet as counting continues across the state.

The Naam Tamilar Katchi has fielded Logeshwari S in Ulundurpettai. As votes cast are now being counted, the final result will show how the party has performed in this constituency.
