Veppanahalli Assembly Election Results 2026 Live Updates: DMK’s P S Srinivasan wins by 138 vote margin

In Veppanahalli, P S Srinivasan of DMK edged past AIADMK’s K P Munusamy in a nail-biting contest, securing 74,691 votes and winning by a razor-thin margin of just 138 votes. TVK’s S R Sampangi finished third with 63,907 votes, making it one of the closest races.

In the Krishnagiri constituency of Tamil Nadu, TVK candidate Mukundhan.P is currently leading with 80,895 votes. The sitting MLA, currently held by AIADMK's Ashokkumar.K, is trailing with 61,149 votes, putting the incumbent 19,746 votes behind as counting continues in this seat.

TVK is currently leading in 172 of Tamil Nadu's 234 assembly seats, putting the party well past the majority mark of 118 if these leads hold. AIADMK is trailing at 26 seats, while DMK is leading in 23 constituencies. No seats have been declared yet as counting continues across the state.
