In Karimpur, Samarendranath Ghosh of BJP secured a clear victory, polling 1,05,234 votes and defeating TMC’s Soham Chakraborty by a margin of 10,185 votes. The contest remained competitive, with Chakraborty finishing second with 95,049 votes after all 23 EVM rounds were counted.

In the Karimpur constituency of West Bengal, counting is currently underway with TMC holding the lead at this stage. The seat, previously held by incumbent Bimalendu Sinha Roy of TMC, is being watched closely as votes continue to be tallied and the final picture gradually comes into shape.
