Dadra and Nagar Haveli constituency of Lok Sabha Election 2024: Date of voting, result, candidates list, main parties, schedule

NEW DELHI: The election commission of India announced the final schedule for the voting and results of the Dadra And Nagar Haveli Lok Sabha election on March 16. This year, the election for the Dadra And Nagar Haveli Lok Sabha Constituency, one of the two Lok Sabha constituencies in the Union Territory, will take place.

The Dadra And Nagar Haveli Lok Sabha constituency Election for 2024 is scheduled for May 7, during Phase 3 of the voting process.

The results for the Dadra And Nagar Haveli Lok Sabha constituency election 2024 will be announced on June 4, following the counting of votes.

The Bharatiya Janata Party has nominated Kalaben Delkar as its candidate for the Dadra and Nagar Haveli Lok Sabha seat. Kalaben recently switched allegiance from the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena to join the BJP. Meanwhile, the Congress party has announced Ajit Rambhai Mahla as its candidate for this constituency.

In the Lok Sabha elections of 2019, Delkar Mohanbhai Sanjibhai from the Independent party emerged victorious from the Dadra And Nagar Haveli Lok Sabha constituency, securing 90,421 votes. Patel Natubhai Gomanbhai of the BJP received 81,420 votes. Patel Natubhai Gomanbhai lost by a margin of 9,001 votes.
