Sena’s Shirur MP Patil meets BJP MLA Landge for support

MLA Mahesh Landge in Bhosari to seek his support for the

Lok Sabha

elections.

Patil said, “Workers of both parties decided to meet to sort out all issues. So we met and have decided that we will set aside all differences and work for the victory of Sena-BJP alliance.”

Junnar MLA Sharad Sonavane, Chinchwad BJP MLA Laxman Jagtap, who is also president of Pimpri Chinchwad unit of BJP; Pimpri Chinchwad mayor Rahul Jadhav and others were at the meeting in Bhosari.

Landge has the support of 30 corporators in Bhosari assembly constituency, a part of Shirur Lok Sabha constituency. He was an aspirant from the BJP for the Shirur ticket. Both had traded allegations and Landge’s supporters wanted him to withdraw from Patil’s campaign.

Pimpri Chinchwad mayor Rahul Jadhav said, “Adhalrao Patil has agreed to withdraw his allegations about civic projects. We have demanded the Bhosari seat for BJP and Patil will convey the message.”
