25 IAS, 13 IPS officers to ensure peaceful election

JAIPUR: The Election Commission (EC) has appointed 25 IAS officers as general observers for all the parliamentary constituencies and 13 IPS officers as police observers for peaceful conduct of Lok Sabha elections in Rajasthan.

Chief Electoral Officer of Rajasthan Anand Kumar informed that S. S. Guleria has been appointed the observor of Tonk-Sawai Madhopur, Ram Niwas Sharma in Ajmer Lok Sabha constituency, Rakesh Kumar Mishra in Pali, Rajesh Kumar in

Jodhpur

Lok Sabha constituency.

In Barmer Lok Sabha constituency, O.T. Chingmak Chang has been appointed the observor, Y Kikhato Seema in Jalore, Rajesh Singh Rana in Udaipur Lok Sabha constituency.

Among others, Dharmendra Singh has been appointed the general observor in Banswara Lok Sabha constituency, Minhaj Alam in Chittorgarh, Arun Kumar Mishra in Rajsamand cosntituency and Prakash G. C. in Bhilwara Lok Sabha constituency.

Similarly, Neeraj Shukla has been appointed observor in Kota constituency, Shekhar Verma in Jhalawar-Baran, Abhishek Jain in Ganganagar, M Ramachandrudu in Bikaner, Ratnakar Raut in Churu Lok Sabha constituency and Trilok Chandra K B in Jhunjhunu.

Mahendra Bahadur Singh has been appointed observor in Sikar Lok Sabha constituency, Krishna Gohain in Jaipur rural constituency, Kum B R Dave in Jaipur constituency, Amit Chaudhuri in

Alwar

, Vijay Singhal in Bharatpur Lok Sabha constituency, Patil Rajesh Prabhakar in Karauli-Dholpur.

Among others, Chandar Shekhar in Dausa Lok Sabha constituency, Jyotish Lal Debvarma in Nagaur constituency have been appointed observors.

The Election Commission has also appointed 13 police supervisors to conduct peaceful polling in the state while maintaining the law and order situation.
