Aparajita Addhy
, who had tested COVID-19 positive during Durga Puja has finally recovered. “I did the second test recently and it came negative. This time, Durga Puja was nothing less than a nightmare for me. Staying in isolation is not easy when the entire world is in a festive mood. It is heartbreaking when you can’t even meet your near and dear ones. My mother-in-law had
fever but I was asymptomatic, but after I tested positive I had panic attacks. My blood pressure shot up.
I know so many people (relatives and friends) who are admitted to hospitals after they tested positive. I know about their mental stress. I just want to delete these 17 days of my life. I am weak now. So, I am thinking of going back to work from mid-November,” the
actress
shared with ETimes in an exclusive chat.
The actress is also rooting for a cracker-free
Diwali this year, especially since the air pollution will be dangerous for
COVID
affected patients. “The respiratory issues will increase because of the air pollution if one burns crackers. So, this should be stopped and I urge the government to take necessary steps. Let this Diwali be of light and absolutely a no
cracker
Diwali,” urged Aparajita.
