Not many people know the South superstar made a special appearance in a Bengali film titled ‘
Bhagya Debata’, released in 1995. The film directed by
Raghuram had another superstar
Mithun Chakraborty in the lead. ‘Bhagya Debata’ was later dubbed in Hindi as ‘Krantikari’. The film also had
Soumitra Chattopadhyay in a pivotal role.
Rajinikanth was seen as a singer in the title song of the film during a stage performance scene. In the action-drama of revenge and vengeance, Mithun played Jagadish Mondal who is always there to help the poor. In normal life, he is a common man having a wife but against the corruption and crime, he becomes Alfred.
