Superstar Rajinikanth turns 69 today (December 12) and celebrations are currently underway across the country. He is one of the most celebrated actors of this era and Thalaivar enjoys an astonishing fan following that transcends across generations. Not many people know Rajinikanth made a special appearance in a Bengali film titled ‘Bhagya Debata’, released in 1995. The film directed by Raghuram had another superstar Mithun Chakraborty in the lead. ‘Bhagya Debata’ was later dubbed in Hindi as ‘Krantikari’.
Rajinikanth was seen as a singer in the title song of the film during a stage performance scene. In the action drama of revenge and vengeance, Mithun played Jagadish Mondal who is always there to help the poor.
