The actress did an experimental photoshoot with her home appliances and in one of the pictures, she can be seen sitting in front of the fridge opening it. The photo led to an uproar. While some praised her beauty showering love, there were others who started throwing lewd comments. Trolls mocked the combination of a stall, bikini and high heel. People started commenting like 'open defecation'.

Her bold photoshoots have often attracted criticism from a certain section of Bengalis who has never liked her experimental fashion choices. This one also faced the wrath of netizens. Talking about trolls, the actress once admitted that initially, she used to be hurt. She said that she wondered why she should be judged by people who have no idea of her. However, because of her family which has multiple stars, the actress knew how to deal with such trolls.

Raima took the internet by storm after she shared a photo of herself posing topless for a photoshoot. She looked sensational holding a glittering top and teamed it with blue denim. Smokey eye makeup, hair left open in soft curls and nude lip tint, made her look like a dream girl. However, she once again had to face the wrath of netizens for the bold photoshoot. While fans complimented her beauty there were some who flooded the comment section with obscene comments. Some of them even questioned her integrity.

Raima who mostly stuck to a girl-next-door image in her over two-decade career, was seen chilling in a pool earlier in June this year. The new pool pictures set the internet on fire. Earlier, she made heads turn with her steamy photographs on social media. However, the actress said she wasn't thinking about image makeover or the risks that come with it. “I am not worried about my image just because I shot some photos for Instagram. I think I still get the roles that I deserve and I have already carved a niche. I don't think I will be typecast," Raima had said. But keyboard warriors didn’t miss the opportunity to criticize the actress for her bold photos. While some of them advised her to stick to traditional wears there were few users who started body-shaming her.

Along with many other actresses including Sohini Sarkar, Tonushree Chakraborty, Raima Sen took part in the Sindoor Khela event of a puja pandal during Bijaya Dashami in 2021. She also shared some pictures from the event on her social media handle but little did she know it will lead to online bullying. What irked some hypocrites is there was sindoor on Raima’s forhead. The dash of sindoor on a bride's forehead is her holiest mark as she begins her journey as a bride, for the rest of her life. Some started questioning since Raima is unmarried why she applied sindoor on her forehead.
