Aminara Bhalo Nei, a film around how geographical boundaries don’t culminate into boundaries in relationships, was recently announced by Ratan Mitra. The film revolves around the barbed wire (kantatar) between India and Bangladesh. Actor Subrat Dutta is playing the role of Pawan, a boatman in India, born and brought up by the side of river Padma. Amina (Moumita Sarkar) is the daughter of Shiraj and stays in the Bangladesh border.

Pawan and Amina met at the wedding ceremony of Ikbaal — Pawan’s friend (Koushik Kar) and fell in love, but the growing bond between them irks Badshah Shiekh (Rajesh Sharma), who wants to marry Amina despite having three wives.
This movie talks about intense relationships and the fight between power and love. Aminara Bhalo Nei also stars Amitava Bhattacharya, Debranjan Nag, Kharaj Mukherjee, Sudip Mukherjee, Debesh Roy Chowdhury, Tannistha Biswas and others.The film will be shot in Kolkata, Sunderbans, Ghuskora and Burdwan. Music for the movie is scored by Priyanko.
