A political thriller ‘Rajnitir Alinde’ is in the making

Since his first directorial ‘Target’ with Mithun Chakraborty in 2010, Raja Chanda has worked with almost all the superstars in the Bengali industry. Prosenjit Chatterjee in ‘Force’, Jeet in ‘Bachchan’, ‘Besh Korechi Prem Korechi’ and recently ‘Sultan: The Saviour’ and Dev in ‘Rangbaaz’ and ‘Challenge 2’ – all have earned him Box Office hits. Commercial mainstream movies are undoubtedly his foray.
While Raja is now busy with next ‘Kidnap’ starring Dav and Rukmini in the lead he will also make a political thriller ‘Rajnitir Alinde’ which offers a bit different storyline than his earlier ones. The film revolves around a man completely changes after joining politics. He starts focusing on earning more money.
Soham Chakraborty and Priyanka Sarkar will play the lead. Soham will be seen as an undercover cop and Priyanka as his girlfriend. The thriller will be made under the banner of Camellia Productions.
Meanwhile, Soham is gearing up for the release of Googly which stars Srabanti Chatterjee opposite her. Up next for Priyanka is Mainak Bhaumik’s Bornoporichoy which has Jisshu Sengupta and Abir Chatterjee as the male leads.
