‘Abar Esho Maa’, a heartwarming tale of hope and faith

It’s the festive season, with one puja or festival lined up till the end of the year. But that doesn’t take the bite out of the emptiness that Durga Puja always seems to leave in its wake. Most of us are grambling back to life as usual, but at the same time having a hard time getting life back in gear. Well, to lessen this post-festival blues here’s a short film titled ‘Abar Esho Maa’ which will surely fill your heart with warmth.

The 17-minute short film has been directed by a young director Sujoy Pal and stars Anubhav Kanjilal and Sreya Bhattacharya in the lead. Apart from these two highly talented actors, Aadhya Bhowmik, the child artist grabs everyone’s attention. The film has already been released digitally and has received appreciation from all.

Another interesting aspect of the short film is the music, especially the background score which has been done Soumya Rit Nag. ‘Abar Esho Maa’ has traveled a number of prestigious international film festivals and earned accolades.
