It was his passion for cinema that inspired
Subham Imam
to step into acting and produce films. A huge fan of
Uttam Kumar, Subham, a schoolteacher by profession, is now eagerly waiting for a hand full of films lined up in the coming months.
Subham
made his acting debut in the 2021 film 'Sleelatahanir Pore' and since then has bagged some meaty roles in films like ‘Salt', 'Bishakto Manush', 'Jannat', 'Chabi Biswas', and 'Chaddabeshi'. He also played a key role in the film 'Amar Challenge' which got released last year.
The talented actor has already featured in two hit music videos – ‘Khali Ka Tension’ opposite
Rakhi Sawant and ‘Sona Bandhu’ opposite
Darshana Banik. He will also be seen in another music video ‘Sweety Sweety’ directed by
Baba Yadav.
“I am looking forward to ‘Salt' since it has powerhouse actors like Chandan Roy Sanyal and
Rituparna Sengupta in the lead. Then I have
Rahul Mukhejeree
’s ‘Chabi Biswas’ which will release soon. Talks are on for a Hindi project starring a big Bollywood star, but I can’t reveal any details about it right now. The ‘Sweety Sweety’ will also be out soon. So, this year I have quite a lot of projects in hand,” shared Subham who is also producing the Soham Chakraborty starrer ‘Paka Dekha’.
