Arjun Chakrabarty
has replaced Jisshu Sengupta in Pratim D Gupta’s ‘Love Aaj Kal Porshu’ which also marks the big screen debut of popular TV actress Madhumita. The film, produced by SVF, is a sublime tale of two people where ‘love’ is seen as an instinct that can never change no matter how much life changes.
Pratim, who has already done a workshop with Arjun and Madhumita, is quite happy with the lead pair’s performance. “Despite acting in serials for such a long time, Madhumita has no mannerisms at all. She is clean as a slate. I like the way she is shaping her character. I have worked with Arjun before and I like the way he has matured over the years. The film shows the many faces of love through this pair,” said the ‘Shantilal O Projapoti Rohoshyo’ director.
