Rituparna Sengupta and Arfin Shuvoo in the lead, it’s a love story of a Bangladeshi Muslim chef (Shuvoo) and a Hindu home cook (Rituparna) from Kolkata. The romantic flick also stars
Paran Bandopadhyay, Dipankar Dey,
Amrita Chattopadhyay among others in key roles.
Bankrolled by Rituparna Sengupta’s home production, ‘Ahaa Re’ marks the third Bengali food film in recent times after ‘Swade Ahlade’ and ‘Maacher Jhol’. Incidentally, after ‘Ekti Cinemar Golpo’, Rituparna and Arfin Shuvoo are sharing the screen for the second time in Ranjan’s latest offering.
