Anirban Bhattacharya rang in his birthday by releasing a new song from his film

Anirban Bhattacharya marked his birthday with a work milestone on Friday. The actor celebrated the day by releasing the song Saajo Saajo from his directorial debut feature Ballabhpurer Roopkotha, at an event in a city restaurant.

The Sahana Bajpaie track has been penned by Anirban and was unveiled in the presence of the cast, the music team, and the director himself.

Ballabhpurer Roopkotha is a quirky horror–comedy and drama with a touch of romance. It’s based on the play of the same name by Badal Sircar.

Besides debutant Satyam Bhattacharya, the film stars Surangana Bandyopadhyay and other prominent names from Bengali theatre. The music of the film has been composed and arranged by Subhadeep Guha and Debraj Bhattacharya.

An exhilarated Anirban shared, “The song has been soothingly delivered by Sahana and her voice profoundly served the purpose. The lyrics are an amalgamation of feelings which evolve into a declaration of something mellow. It also encourages the youth to believe in the many layers of the film and its power to transcend. It's complete teamwork.”

Surangana and Satyam also sounded elated and said, “Working with Anirban Da in his first directorial film is huge! We are extremely glad that he has shown his trust in us and has given us the golden opportunity to be a part of a memorable journey and this time it’s more special as today is Anirban Da’s birthday”
