Arindam Sil wants a biopic on legendary actor Chhabi Biswas

Ranbir Kapoor has brought actor Sanjay Dutt's tumultuous life to the big screen. The Rajkumar Hirani directed biopic, titled ‘Sanju’, sees Ranbir portraying the struggle that the renowned Bollywood actor endured, right from his mother’s death, drug addiction, troubled married life and his imprisonment. The biopic has already become a box office smasher, winning many a million hearts.Now, eminent faces of the Bengali industry have also expressed their views on what biopic they want to see.
Renowned director Arindam Sil, who has only just returned from Mussoorie, revealed that he wants to see a biopic made on the life of legendary actor Chhabi Biswas, who enjoyed an iconic status in Bengali cinema. Whereas, from Bollywood, the filmmaker would love to see a biopic on Rekha.
While popular actress Sreelekha Mitra is voting for a biopic on veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty, Shaheb Bhattacharya feels a biopic should be made on the screen legend Suchitra Sen.
