, who was last seen in Pathikrit Basu’s Dadur Kirti with Om Sahani, is super excited after bagging a pivotal role in ad filmmaker and director Pradeep Sarkar’s associate Tathagatha Sinha’s upcoming Bollywood film,

Uma

. The film also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Harsh Chhaya,

Tinu Anand

and Meghna Malik, among others. The shooting of the film started two days back in Kolkata.

Sharing her excitement about her debut Bollywood project, Ayoshi said, “It's a family drama set in an aristocratic household with a wedding backdrop. The story revolves around Pinky's wedding. Pinky’s character is being played by me. I play one of the primary characters in the film. The shoot started the day before yesterday in Kolkata and is going to end in August. I have an entire month of shooting left. This is my first Bollywood movie. I had given two to three auditions for my role with the casting agency. I'm extremely excited and feel blessed to be starting my Bollywood journey with Uma. I am nervous too. Everyone on the set is so senior and experienced than me. I am looking forward to learning from them. It's a family drama so everyone can come together and watch it in the theatre if the

situation permits, else it will be released on some

OTT

platform. I hope the audience likes my performance.”

Earlier, Ayoshi has also starred in films like Satyanweshi Byomkesh and a few web series.
