Na Na Bhulini, Babul Supriyo’s nostalgic trip in the form of a music video, will be released during Durga Pujo. After 6 long years, Babul Supriyo shot a non-film music video in Kolkata on the premises of Scottish Church College on Saturday. Also present for the shoot were Babul’s old friends, Anindya Chatterjee and Upal Sengupta of Chandrabindoo fame. Lahoma Bhattacharya, Anindya Chatterjee and Somlata Acharya also feature in the video. The mellifluous nostalgic melody is penned by Babul himself, tuned by Saptak Sanai and sung by Babul and Somlata Acharya.

Incidentally, Anindya and Upal, from band Chandrabindoo are both college mates of Babul and they featured in the music video in a special scene. The music video is shot by Abhrajit Sen.

Speaking on the occasion Babul said, “The significance of Pujo songs has long been a tradition of Bengal. This song, which talks about nostalgia, will surely bring back those memories of yesteryears. This is my humble tribute to my college years, my college days and every Bengali will associate with the songs.”

Lahoma on her part added, “This is my first music video and we all had a blast shooting for it.”

The song will be released in the last week of September.
