After receiving critical acclaims with his debut film ‘Matir Projar Deshe’ (Kingdom of Clay Subjects), Bijon and producer Arifur Rahman joined hands with eminent German producer

Roman Paul

to make ‘Paradise’ a Bangladesh-German co-production.
Earlier, ‘Paradise’ was screened at Goa Film Bazaar, Locarno Film Festival and Motion Picture Academy's film co-production market, creating waves among international producers and financiers. They met Roman Paul at Film Bazaar 2017 in Goa, but it was in Locarno the German producer finally came on board with.
37 feature films from all over the world will be screened the 16th edition of the Berlinale Co-Production Market this year. The 5-day event starts on February 9 as part of the 69th Berlin International Film Festival.
