A professor of Psychology, Reema Basu, has short films and documentaries to her credit and now she is all set to make her directorial debut with a full-length feature film titled, ‘Bhaag Shesh’. The film, which is a tale of motherhood and friendship, is already receiving good response at several film festivals.
Featuring big names of the industry such as
Soumitra Chatterjee and
Priyanka Sarkar in the lead, the family drama’s plot is based on motherhood and friendship. Malobika Sen, Koushik Roy, Subhrajit Dutta and Ambarish Bhattacharya will also be seen in pivotal roles. Reema’s renowned musician father Jayanta Basu will compose the music for the film.
Meanwhile, Priyanka is all set for her next ‘Sultan The Saviour’ which will release on June 15. The action flick stars Jeet and Bidya Sinha Mim in the lead, while Priyanka plays Jeet’s sister in the film. Soumitra Chatterjee too has a hand full of projects. The veteran actor will be seen in a key role in
Parambrata Chatterjee’s upcoming ‘Shonar Pahar’ which is releasing on July 6.
