Bharat Kaul: Most people are taking it easy but COVID-19 still out there

On March 29, actorBharat Kaul and his wife Jayasree had tested COVID positive. The actor had shared the news through social media. He wrote, “I have tested positive for covid and so has Jayasree Mukherjee#hope and wish to recover soon .. keep us in your prayers (sic).”
“Since March 27, I had a high fever, body ache and severe chest pain. On March 28, I went to the hospital to get my ECG and other tests done. COVID test was mandatory as I had a fever.The ECG and other reports were satisfactory but I tested COVID positive. My wife, who had a mild fever, got tested and she was positive too. We are in isolation now and my daughter is staying with my mother, who luckily got her first dose of vaccination fifteen days back,” the veteran actor shared with ETimes.
Since he has other health issues Bharat says the doctor asked him to be extra careful. “I am on a high-protein diet and taking ample rest. People seem to have lowered their guard when it comes to taking precautions against COVID. Most people are taking it easy, but it is still out there and it’s pretty dangerous. The second wave is here and if we don’t follow the guidelines, we will suffer. Even on the shooting floors, I hardly see people wearing masks or maintaining social distancing,” added the popular actor urging people to not lower their guard down.
