​‘Bohurupi’ poster launched in presence of the cast and crew of the film; See photos​

​After the success of their 2023 release Raktabeej, Tollywood director duo Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy are ready with their Pujo release of this year. The successful director duo is gearing up for the next release ‘Bohurupi’ this Durga Puja. After the first looks of the main cast of the film, the poster of ‘Bohurupi’ was launched recently. ​The poster of ‘Bohurupi’ treated the viewers with a dramatic confrontation between Abir Chatterjee and Shiboprosad Mukherjee, emphasizing the intense dynamics of their roles. Abir's character is depicted in a high-energy chase scene, running with palpable urgency, while Shiboprosad, embodying a more composed demeanor, is seen casually smoking a cigarette, hinting at his character’s enigmatic and possibly menacing nature. ‘Bohurupi’ promises to capture the audience’s imagination with its blend of action, drama, and the unique flair of Bengal’s evolving cinematic landscape.

​‘Bohurupi’ features Abir Chatterjee and Ritabhari Chakraborty, Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Koushani Mukherjee in pivotal roles. After ‘Fatafati’, Abir and Ritabhari are reuniting once again on screen. On the other hand, Shiboprosad is ready to impress the audience once again as an actor after winning their hearts on ‘Haami’ and ‘Kontho’. Koushani, for the first time, will be seen in a film under the banner of Windows.

​Abir is set to return as a cop in ‘Bohurupi’ after ‘Raktabeej’. On the other hand, although Ritabhari had worked with Windows before in films like ‘Brahma Janen Gopon Kommoti’ and ‘Fatafati’, this is the first time the actress collaborated with the director duo Shiboprosad- Nandita. Koushani’s first look in the film intrigued the audience, whereas Shiboprosad’s first look caused quite a stir.

​During the poster launch of ‘Bohurupi’, director Nandita Roy shared her experience, saying, “What was once a dream is now a reality. ‘Bohurupi’ was filmed over 35 days at 84 different locations throughout Bengal and features 100 Bohurupis. We aimed to capture the essence of our imagination in every frame.”
