Both
Ridhima Ghosh and
Gaurav Chakrabarty love to travel. So, whenever they get a break, they pack their bags and travel to new destinations. “In March, we went to Darjeeling and Ranthambore. March 6 happened to be Gaurav’s birthday and after that, on a day’s notice, we went to Darjeeling —our favourite hill station. One can never get bored of Darjeeling, as each time the place has something new to offer. Again, during March-end, my in-laws (
Sabyasachi
and Mithu Chakrabarty) were travelling to Ranthambore. As we didn’t have any work at that time, we accompanied them.
Gaurav
had been to
Ranthambore
before, but for me, it was the first time. I loved the place. So, for Gaurav, it was revisiting old memories. Ranthambore National Park is one of the biggest national parks in
Northern India
and it is so beautiful,” said the actress, adding, “People often ask us whether we love hills, beaches or jungles, and my answer is – I love all! Both Gaurav and I love to travel to new places at least four or five times a year. Travelling gives us a high.”
How is it to travel in this new normal? “At first we were skeptical about travelling, but later we realized that one has to accept the situation. As a responsible citizen, one has to maintain the protocols and be safe. Wearing a mask is mandatory for your own safety,” said Ridhima.
