It’s celebration time for all those fans who are eagerly waiting for
Jeet’s much-anticipated film ‘Chengiz’. The trailer of the upcoming film is already here and it will surely give adrenaline rush through your veins.
The trailer introduces Jeet as all-guns blazing as fans get to see a glimpse of Chengiz and his ruthless world. Apart from the intense action and fight sequences, thumping background score and whistle-worthy dialogues, the actor is seen in an entirely different deadly yet chic avatar. Interestingly, the film is set to release in Bengali and Hindi simultaneously this Eid.
The plot revolves around the underworld fabric of Calcutta from the 70’s to the mid-90’s while capturing and chronicling the journey of Chengiz, an underworld kingpin who used to rule the streets once. Directed by
Rajesh Ganguly, the film also has
Shataf Figar,
Susmita Chatterjee and Rohit Bose Roy in important roles. Based on a story by
Neeraj Pandey and the director himself, the action flick has already upped the excitement bar among fans, especially after the release of the trailer both in Hindi and Bengali.
For the unversed, the film’s first song ‘Widda’ was released recently and it has already been lapped up by all. With the super energetic beats and lyrics the song gives us the perfect feel of peppy dance track. In fact, the stylish looks and the enigmatic persona of Jeet in the song are being appreciated as well. The music has been composed by Aneek Dhar and Divya Kumar’s electrifying voice makes the song an instant hit.While the lyrics are by Panchhi Jalonvi, the choreography of ‘Widda’ is by Imran Sardhariya.
The action thriller will hit the big screens on the auspicious occasion of Eid on 21st April. Jeet was last seen in the film ‘Raavan’ which was again an action flick.
