Composer Arko Pravo Mukherjee shoots in Kolkata

When singer-songwriter and composer Arko Pravo Mukherjee decided to shoot the video of his debut single — Saat paake bandha — in Kolkata, it was a nostalgic trip to the past. His song, which was shot today in the city, speaks about his own feelings of returning to the roots. The song is featured on Anindya Chatterjee and Antasheela Ghosh. Said Anindya, “Arko and I have been friends for long.So, for me, it was getting involved his project as a friend. The video features a man who returns from abroad to discover his roots. We had a blast during the shoot.”

Arko, who lives in Mumbai, has his roots in Bengal. A student of Don Bosco, he did MBBS from Burdwan Medical College in 2007. After completing his internship in Calcutta Medical College, he moved to Mumbai for a career in music. Arko has to his credit many hit songs and scored for Laali Ki Shaadi Mein Laaddoo Deewana and Dobaara: The Evil Eye only this year. The video was directed by Dibya Chatterjee and Abhimanyu worked as the DoP.
