‘Crime Sins’ promises a gripping thriller with loads of twists and turns

For the past two decades, crime thrillers have become one of the most popular genres in world cinema. For many of us, nothing can beat the excitement of having a good psychological thriller to look forward to watching. Our obsession with thrillers, this unsatiated thirst to be acquainted with cold-blooded murderers have inspired many young filmmakers to try their hands on the thriller genre. That’s what young filmmaker Riz is trying to focus on in his next ‘Crime Sins’.

Starring a host of experienced and talented actors including Partasarathi, Supriya Dutta, Gopal Talukdar, Anushka Chakraborty, Pritam Guha, Manish Chakraborty, Abhirup Chowdhury and others, the upcoming thriller’s story is by the director himself.

The story starts when a seemingly gentleman, a harmless IT sector serviceman is suspected of kidnapping a young girl and forcing her to sleep with the average-looking guy’s clients. As police start investigating the matter they find so many loopholes and are left questioning if the man is really behind all of this. As the investigation progresses, a neurosurgeon who seemingly has a connection with the man gets killed. It turns out to be a cat and mouse game as police are literally clueless about the motif of the IT sector guy. What happens next forms the crux of the story.

While the screenplay and dialogues are by Pele Bhattacharya, the DOP is Nayan Mani Ghosh. The music and background score is by Soumya Rit.
