‘Debi’ second trailer introduces us to Chanchal Chowdhury's character, Misir Ali

‘Debi’, directed by Anam Biswas, will see producer Jaya Ahsan making her film debut. The Bangladeshi actress will play a pivotal character, Ranu in this film largely based on Humayun Ahmed’s popular novel of the same name. The first teaser trailer of the film has received an overwhelming response and now the makers have launched the second trailer and it looks every bit intriguing.In this latest clip, the viewer is introduced to the lead character Misir Ali.

The video gives a sneak peek at Dhaka University with Misir Ali in the foreground. Giving us a fresh take on the famous character; actor Chanchal Chowdhury can be seen sporting a casual attire with white hair and thick spectacles.
Apart from Chanchal Chowdhury as Misir Ali, Joya Ahsan will be seen playing a key role along with Animesh Aich and Iresh Zaker.
‘Debi’ is set to release on September 7.
