Arindam Sil is off to Leh Ladakh on Saturday evening to rejuvenate before he starts shooting Byomkesh Pawrbo from August in north Bengal. While Byomkesh, Ajit and Saytabatis look remain the same, the other characters will get a makeover. Whats more, Abir Chatterjee aka Byomkesh will soon start training in horse riding and martial arts.
The way Abir has worked on his body is praiseworthy.
He is looking fitter. Its time for him to learn horse riding now, said the director, who has already had the first session of script narration with his unit. My team was super-excited about the script. Even then, many had suggestions, which we will now incorporate, said Arindam. He added, Through every film of mine, I pay tribute to Satyajit Ray in some way or the other. In Byomkesh Pawrbo, there will be tribal dance at the climax and that will be my tribute to the master. The adivasis from north Bengal will feature in the sequence. Music always plays an important part in my film, and Bickram (Ghosh) and I are already in talks.
Meanwhile, the trailer of Arindams Eagoler Chokh has already got a huge response from the audience. I am overwhelmed. It took some time for Har Har Byomkeshs trailer to garner one lakh views. Eagoler Chokh got 60,000 views in one third of that time. My trailers are usually very toned-down version of my films and the response has floored me. This makes my job tougher in the coming days. I hope the audience likes the film, said the director.
