First look from upcoming film! Can you name this Tollywood superstar?

Prosenjit Chatterjee’s astonishing look of an arrogant non-conformist writer of fiction from Atanu Ghosh’s next film ‘Shesh Pata’ has created quite a lot of buzz among his fans. The film explores the very basic concept of debt and the idea of freedom attached to the word.

On Wednesday, when the entire nation was celebrating Republic Day Atanu Ghosh decided to surprise the cine buffs with the first look of Prosenjit Chatterjee from his film. He dropped two screengrabs on social media and it surprised everyone.

In the two pictures, the Tollywood superstar can be seen as the deserted writer Balmiki with his grey messy hair and beard. The high-power glasses can’t hide the tiredness in his indifferent eyes. The old house in the background also gives a glimpse of the writer’s disturbed life. Prosenjit’s elderly look stunned everyone.

According to the director, “Debt comes with quite a lot of mental and emotional costs. Some debts become so heavier on our minds. Interestingly, just think the person to whom you have to pay the debt might be terribly unsettled as well. So it can take a toll on both the giver and the receiver. It’s quite an absorbing theme to experiment with.”

Speaking about Prosenjit’s unrecognizable prosthetic makeup Atanu says makeup artist Somnath Kundu stunned him with his works. The National Award-winning director also says that Somnath first read the script and then starts his work which is quite exemplary because he hasn’t seen anyone doing this before.

The film also stars Gargee Roychowdhury, Vikram Chatterjee, Rayati Bhattacharya and others in pivotal roles. This will be Atanu Ghosh’s third film with Prosenjit after ‘Mayurakshi’ and ‘Robibaar’.
