Director
Haranath Chakraborty, who had tested COVID
positive
over 10 days back and was admitted to a city
hospital
, has been discharged. The filmmaker has tested negative for COVID-19 now and is recovering at home.“I am back home from the hospital. It has been a nightmare for me since the time I tested positive. Despite taking both the doses of the vaccine, I tested positive. I really don’t know where we are heading. I was running a high fever on May 3 and also experienced body ache. The body temperature refused to subside and it was then that my
doctor
advised me to get admitted to the hospital. But thankfully, I didn’t face any breathing difficulties and my oxygen saturation level was normal. I am extremely weak now and following everything that the doctor has prescribed. I am also on a high-protein diet,” said the director. He added, “Post-COVID care is very important to recover is what my doctor has said. I will also urge everyone who has recovered from the virus to take it seriously. That apart, wearing masks, maintaining social distance and washing hands at regular interval are things we cannot avoid at any cost.”
