“It is a psychological crime drama and in many ways inspired by the story of Bengali sleuth

Byomkesh Bakshi

. The plot revolves around detective

Nalanjana Bakshi

, who starts investigating the murders taking place at the house of a lawyer. Actor Ipsita Chakraborty is playing the character of Nilanjana,” Bappa added. Besides Ipshita, Debyendu Bhattacharya, Joy Sengupta, Konineeca Banerjee and Pradip Bhattacharya also play important roles in the film.

“Because of the cast and nail-biting storyline, I am really hopeful about the project. I am sure that people would love it. We are trying to complete the shoot and opt for a theatrical release during the first half of 2022,” Bappa said, adding that the film will be shot mostly in Kolkata.

The music will be composed by

Panjal Das

and songs will be rendered by Rupankar Bagchi, Lagnajita Chakraborty and Iman Chakraborty.
