I’m having a good time at home with my grandchildren: Paran Bandopadhyay

Senior actor Paran Bandopadhyay has not visited the

shooting floors

ever since the Coronavirus

pandemic

broke out. While two of his projects have been shelved, the veteran actor, in a chat with us, said that even if shoot resumes, he will consider it given the circumstances at that point of time. "I am having to take a lot of precautions owing to my age, so I’m in no tearing hurry," he told us.
Talking about his projects, he revealed that he was working on two films before the pandemic broke out. "The first one is Diya Annapurna Ghosh's Bob Biswas that stars Abhishek Bachchan in the lead. I shot for the film in March and then the shoot had to be stalled. The second film is Raja Bandopadhyay’s Pantua. It stars Lily Chakraborty alongside me," he added.
While he misses film sets and shooting, he is spending a jolly good time at home. “Music, films and grandchildren take up most of my time. I have nothing to complain about," he told us.
Paran believes that while it’s a positive sign that shoots have resumed, normalcy will be restored only after the vaccine hits the market. “We will have to wait it out. I remember, on March 12, on my way back home from the studios, I visited my daughter’s house. Since then, I have not left home," he said, wrapping up the chat.
