Birsa Dasgupta’s Bibaho Obhijaan is set to release in Bangladesh in July. It also stars Bangladeshi actress
Nusraat Faria
in an important role. It is a comedy film about two buddies — Anupam (
Ankush) and Rajat (
Rudranil
) — who are very thick. Anupam, a shy gentleman, marries a rebel, Rai (Nusraat Faria), while Rajat, an outspoken man, marries Maya (Sohini Sarkar), who is chosen by his family. Rajat and Anupam are hen-pecked at home and have a tiring work life. Maya is caught up with her daily pujas and the daily dose of megaserials and keeps vouching for the good effect of madulis. Rai, on the other hand, attends rallies and protests across the city. One has too much adoration for her husband, while the other has no time for him. Rajat and Anupam, tired of their daily lives, concoct an escape to Darjeeling for a few days. But it doesn’t go according to plan as they are kidnapped by dacoits on the way. Taking to social media, the director announced the news of the film’s release in Bangladesh. It’s not the first time that Nusraat worked in a Bengali film. She began her journey in Tollywood with Ashok Pati’s Aashiqui and went on to do Sujit Mondal’s Hero 420. In 2016, she paired up with Jeet for Badsha: The Don and worked with him in
Boss 2
and Inspector Notty K. Meanwhile, speculation is rife that the actress is not single. As per reports, she is in a relationship with a businessman from Bangladesh.
