Ishaa is looking forward to her next

Ishaa Saha is quite excited about her next film, Sahabas, directed by Anjan Kanjilal. The shooting got over last month and the

film

is currently at post-production stage. The actress told us that her character in this film is completely different from what she usually plays on screen.

“I’m playing a short-tempered girl, who has a sharp tongue. The character has many shades and the story is also very interesting,” she said. After the success of her two consecutive films -- Shieladitya Moulik’s Sweater and Dhrubo Banerjee’s Durgeshgorer Guptodhon -- Isha is on

nine. The kind of response and feedback she has received for the films, not only made her happy but also inspired her for future projects. Talking about the films, the actress said that her performance in both have been vastly appreciated. “This is making me happy and tense at the same time. Both the films have increased the audience’s expectations from me. So, I can’t afford to take any wrong decision at this point in time,” she added.

Sharing one of the feedbacks for Durgeshgorer Guptodhon, Isha narrated a recent incident to us. At a gathering held a few weeks ago, she met a nearly five-year-old girl. “She told me how she is in love with Sonada, Abir and Jhinuk. I was overwhelmed to know that Sonada can enjoy popularity even among children of her age. This is a huge compliment. But with this, come increased expectations. While I am enjoying all this, I am also worried about my performance in future projects,” she added.
