‘GOLONDAAJ’

Based on true events, Golondaaj depicts the inspiring journey of the Father of Indian Football Nagendra Prasad Sarbadhikari, the first Indian to play the sport and open a professional football club in the country. This Dhrubo Banerjee directorial, starring Dev as Nagendra, did wonders at the Box Office raking in huge numbers.

‘DWITIYO PURUSH’

In the year 1993, in Chinatown, Kolkata, a gang war takes place and leads to several murders. The police get involved but politics leads to the whole incident being covered up. Twenty-five years later the same thing begins to happen again, identical from the location to the pattern of killing. In this Srijit Mukherji directed spin-off to ‘Baishe Srabon’, Abhijit Prakashi and his assistant Rajat are once again confronted by a baffling mystery.

‘TONIC’

Mr Jaladhar Sen and his wife are both retired and living with their son, daughter in law and granddaughter. However, the old couple`s lives are in total control of the son, who doesn`t allow them much freedom. Things come to a head when the son celebrates his own ten year anniversary lavishly but is reluctant to do the same for his parents 45th year together. Can Jaladhar ensure a grand anniversary and also fix his relationship with his son?

Anik Datta directed Borunbabu (Soumitra Chattopadhyay) is an irritable, old man whose wife is bedridden and the only people he talks to are his childhood friend and his grandson. Isolated from the rest of his family, he lives a lonely life but one day something happens that changes it all. All of sudden, Borunbabur finds himself at the center of all attention.
