“Out of the 7 award-winning shorts which owned me 72 total awards and more than 140 official Selections worldwide; telefilms, series and mini-series which is India’s 1st horror mini-series even in ad films I took newcomers. I am grateful to the distributions and world famous OTTs who still believe in talent and not for renounced star artists. Many talents from theatre and serial miss out on major roles in mainstream films and creative films or series due to the lack of proper focus. I am extremely thankful to my unity Pictures team my sister who is my inspiration and my mom dad who are my lifeline. Now I can say no box but vox. It seems so special for a filmmaker that his films will be screened at Prestigious Vox Cinemas. I thank my producer of Urmimala film and also team hello for this success,” shared the filmmaker.

‘Urmimala’, starring Asish Pathak, Shampa Mukherjee, Piyali Dhar, Satya Charan Sardar and Gokul Mullick in key roles, revolves around an established author. Meanwhile, the 9-minute short film ‘Hello’ is a physiological thriller where miscommunication between two persons following a phone call leads to a series of errors. It stars Rajib Biswas and Adrija Biswas in key roles.
