Kolkata model Iqbal debuts in a Hindi film

Kolkata model Mohammed Iqbal is on cloud nine. The model-turned-actor has just completed shooting for his first Bollywood film directed by Soumyajit Ganguly. He is paired opposite singer Anwesshaa in this film. “I am so excited to share the news that I have completed shooting for my first Bollywood film which is yet untitled. I play Loy D’souza who is passionate about music and love to spend time with nature. The character has a lot of shades and I enjoyed thoroughly playing this character. The film has 11 songs sung by Shaan, Anwessha and others. The film explores the connection between music and relationships,” informed Iqbal. He further added, “The story begins with three girls going on a trip but what starts as a peaceful journey takes a turn as the story progresses.”
