Konineeca just had a lovely trip to Santiniketan

Koneenica Banerjee recently returned from a family vacation in Santiniketan. And according to the

enjoyed the trip the most. “The past five months of the

pandemic

have been very taxing for all of us. The lockdown and the uncertainty all around have stressed out all of us. So, we wanted to take a break from all this and drove to Santiniketan with friends and family. My daughter was the happiest among us, as she too hasn’t been able to go out for her regular strolls. In Santiniketan, the greenery all around us was such a relief from the stressful life we are all leading every day now,” said Konineeca, who recently had a haircut to get rid of boredom and have

manageable hair

.

“I was getting bored of seeing the same face every day, so I decided to chop my hair. Now it’s manageable and looking healthy too,” said the actress, who will start shooting for Indrasish Acharya’s next film from November. “Rahul and Anuradha Mukherjee are also part of the film, which was supposed to go on the floors before the lockdown. But thank god, at last, it’s happening.”
The actress is also looking forward to the reopening of theatres. “I want to watch a first-day-first-show once theatres reopen. The entertainment industry suffered a lot like any other industry. I hope things will be better once the theatres reopen,” she said.
As for celebrating Durga Puja, Koneenica said, “I feel it is better not to venture out during Puja this year. Because of the pandemic, crowd management will be a crucial factor at every pandal.”
