is currently prepping up for her character in
Mainak Bhaumik’s upcoming film ‘Chini’ which also stars Vikram Chatterjee.
“Whenever the shooting starts, I am preparing myself up for that. I play the titular character, Chini. It is a story of a mother and her daughter.
Aparajita Auddhy
plays my mother. My character is vocal, argumentative, independent and yet loving. It has layers and I am in love with the character already,” shared the actress while speaking about her upcoming projects. ‘Chini’ was supposed to hit the floors in February this year but due to the
pandemic
it got postponed.
Meanwhile, the talented actress recently got the chance to share the screen with senior actor
Rajesh Sharma in a Mahishasurmardini program and it was a learning experience for her.
“Whenever I meet a senior actor I try to learn and I ask questions. I asked him that in Bollywood he played characters from different provinces of this country and he played each of the characters so convincingly. What could be his secret? And this is what he told me. ‘Do not take that extra pressure of getting deep into the character. Understand the character well and pick up a few traits that you would follow consistently. This will make your job so easy,’ he said. I was floored. It was such fun working on this project,” the actress added.
