The huge success of

‘Macher Jhol’

has convinced Pratim to repeat Mamata Shankar in ‘Ahare Mon’ too. We have seen Mamata in a serious role as Ritwick Chakraborty’s mother in ‘Macher Jhol’, but in this film, the veteran actress will be seen in a much lighter role. During the trailer launch event, she said: “I am so lucky that Pratim has cast me in his next film also. It’s always a pleasure to work with him and personally, I think among all the co-actors, my performance was poorest. I am so happy that still, Pratim offered me a role.”

Mamata Shankar’s character seems to discover some unconventional feelings with her acquaintance played by Anjan Dutt in this upcoming film. Apart from these two veteran actors, ‘Ahare Mon’ has an ensemble cast that includes Ritwick Chakraborty, Parno Mittra, Paoli Dam, Adil Hussain and Chitrangada Chakraborty. The romantic drama is slated for a release on June 22.
