So, the shoot of Meri Pyaari Bindu, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Parineeti Chopra is on in full swing in Kolkata. And, by the looks of it, Ayushmann is having a great time, sweating it out, pushing cars and, of course flooring women with his charm.
Ayushmann plays the role of a Bengali writer by the name of Abhimanyu, while Parineeti plays the eponymous Bindu. He was shooting on Waterloo Streets when a gang of friends caught up with him. Of course, they lapped up this opportunity to steal any moment with Ayushmann that they could. And the perfect gentleman that he is, Ayushmann obliged all. Said Ahana barely able to contain her excitement, "While shaking hands with us, he said, 'I am so sorry my hands are dirty since I am pushing a car since morning'. But then he shook our hands and also gave all of us hugs. Infact, when we requested for a selfie with him, he even said, 'Let me take the selfie!' He is super cool and so down to earth!"
Context: Ayushmann was shooting for a scene with Biswajit Chakraborty which required him to push a car, thus leaving his hands dirty.
It's been a couple of days since Ayushmann has been shooting in the city of joy. And the heat got to him too. He also shared a picture of himself and captioned it, 'Shooting in Calcutta in this weather is the toughest. Waiting for kalbaisakhi! #MeriPyaariBindu'. Same here man, same here!
