Nana Patekar has been reportedly roped in for the Hindi remake of Bengali box-office hit ‘
Bela Seshe
’ which was directed by
Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee.
According to reports, Nana Patekar agreed to work in the Hindi remake of ‘Bela Sheshe’ as soon he was offered the film. He reportedly felt the script is really good and has the elements to give a strong message to the society.
Nana will reportedly step into the shoes of legendary Bengali actor
Soumitra Chatterjee. However, the female lead played by Swatilekha Sengupta is yet to be finalised.
The veteran
Bollywood
actor isn’t a new face to the Bengali industry as he has already worked with national award-winning directors Tapan Sinha and
Gautam Ghosh in ‘Aaj Ka Robinhood’ and ‘Yatra’ respectively.
