New song Nayaner Jawle traces Binodini–Girish’s creative bond

The makers of Lawho Gouranger Naam Rey directed by Srijit Mukherji have released the soulful track Nayaner Jawle, a song that captures the profound emotional bond between theatre legend Binodini Dasi and playwright-director Girish Ghosh. Featuring Subhashree Ganguly as Binodini and Bratya Basu as Girish Ghosh, the visual storytelling highlights a relationship built on trust, gratitude and creative companionship, reflecting the pivotal role Ghosh played in shaping Binodini’s artistic journey.
Composed by Indraadip Dasgupta, penned by Shibashis Bandyopadhyay and sung by Jayati Chakraborty, the song weaves history with emotion, adding a poignant layer to the film’s narrative.
